About Fresh Start
This site documents the Fresh Start service design project, where you will find information about our design process, experience prototypes, and more information about the Fresh Start service.
This site is necessarily information-dense. Please consider that all work was completed within a seven-week project time-span (excepting this web site), and that all parts of the process were critical to producing the final results.
Although the Fresh Start service design project was completed in the Spring of 2005, this site was created specifically for the Emergence 2006 service design conference held in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania from Sept. 8-10, 2006.

Interaction Design Institute Ivrea:
During its five-year existence, Interaction Design Institute Ivrea offered a two-years Master's program focused on multidisciplinary, team-based projects in the areas of service, software, and hardware interaction design. Its mission was to develop our capacity to innovate new products and services, demonstrating the role of interaction design through a variety of future concept projects. Founded in 2001 in Ivrea, Italy, the school attracted an eclectic mix of students and faculty from around the world.
